Tractor will be a John Deere, I’m planning on doing a 3 speed from either Atlas or Profab, having everything needled, external brakes, ect.

I have a complete 4320 rearend I can start with. I’m wanting to make sure I don’t need to start with something else. For example light 4010 axles on a 4020 trans case (if it’s any different from a 4320 case)

I know that 4010 final drives increase your speed on a 4020 rear diff, but is that necessary when doing a 3 speed?

Any info or opinions are welcome. One has a cut in the sidewall that does not go all the way through. If I put them on, I would probably put a patch on as a reinforcement. They have been run with no issues.
