After reading the "Banana Ball" post I started to think, has pulling really sunk that low that somebody thinks that's the solution. First, how many pulls are there on an annual basis, to many that that alone makes it impossible, two, the sport should never be cheapened to that level. However let's talk about what's possible and what's positive. I realize that my next view is pretty minor, however this issue sets the tone for the show. When the test pullers hooks and roars out the end and the crowd goes crazy only to have a reset and the next vehicle goes 290 the crowd is already disappointed with that hook. Never add weight, take weight out, the fans has already seen an exciting hook and now we've given them a less exciting hook. And next are the same old ideas from years gone by. Run a fast show, don't stop the show for any reason ( awards, a word with some talking head, etc ) next have the next vehicle ready to hook to the sled even before the scrapper tractors are done working the track, colorful vehicles ( PS mainly ) and something I've written about for years, move the high HP vehicles to the middle of the show. Granted some events are starting to take that approach. And try and keep the show under 4 hrs. The product on the track has to be the good enough for the fans to want to come back. Pulling is not to become bigger, however it can become better.

Looking for info from the guys who know DT360s and DT466s. Im currently building a truck and have a DT360 that I’ll be running in it. I know that a lot of the parts interchange between the two engines but I’m looking to boost the 360 to get some more horsepower. So my question is can I use a DT466 turbo and injectors in the DT360? I’m not looking for huge gains but would like to be around the 3 to 400 hp range. I know this is low hp for you guys but if you need info go to the guys that build them. I’ve already turned the pump up but I know it could definitely help if I can squeeze so more air in it. Any info is appreciated as I’m new to these engines.

Every month on here someone decides to start a discussion about what's wrong with pulling, or what we need to do to save pulling. If you don't live under a rock, you have probably seen or heard of the Savanah Banana's or Banana Ball. It's no secret the baseball has not been on top for a while. Tickets are easy to get and stand are never full. Banana Ball is the complete opposite. Tickets are harder to get and they are selling out ball fields. I am not into baseball and we have looked into going to a game. But is this something we need should be looing at? Banana Ball is getting more attention than baseball, in my opinion. Does pulling need to reinvent the way we putt on a show? Or is someone going to put on the a brush pull that outperforms a G.N. event?

In the 1970s, a Michigan puller named Nolan Hall ran a mod called the Odd Couple. This got me wondering: Which multi-engine mods have used two different types of engines?

For example, was Wayne Cook the one who put an allison and chevy together? Joe Eder ran 2 hemis and what, 2 chevys for a while?
Who else paired different types of engines?
