It's no different than any partnership. I think Fullpull might be majority owner (not 100% sure though). I believe WPI also provided funds. I'm not sure if there were other investors or if VanBeek kept a portion of ownership, All I know is that it's a partnership.

As for whether it's a good move for Fullpull, no I don't need to know what they paid (if I did I would have said good investment) I think it's actually a great move for them to diversify. They have gone from a simple betting app to a media company to promotors to co-owning an organization. That's very impressive. It will give them more control of the product and a much more prominent seat at the table. Great move for them.

A more important question might be; what's next for them?

Maybe meet in the middle... 6700-7000 lb class would a great shorter term solution and then see what direction makes the most sense for the class longterm. Personally I prefer lighter in most cases for classes but that's just a preference.

That's going to be interesting. Outlaws Allow 3 Chevys while NTPA restricts you to 2 engines. I like the 6200 lb class the best and talking to other pullers that seems to be the general consensus. We're built so light to run 6,200 lbs that it is difficult to find places to add that extra #1200 especially with the reverse stair step setup we run. If anything Consolidate and go 6500 or 6600 since some Outlaw guys might not be able to get to that 6200 threshold. It would still kick out the 3 engine guys though.

Just throwing this out there for discussion. Outlaws mods run at 7400 lbs. NTPA light mods run at 6000 or 6200 (can't remember which). With PPLcalling the 7400 class "light" at their upcoming truck show pull, and given many light mod tractors have ran either 74 or 7500 with the same engine setup, what are the chances NTPA will mostly adopt Outlaws rules and keep their GN light mod class a 2 engine class but up the weight to 7400 lbs from the current lighter weight?

This is a great move by Fullpull Entertainment and interesting that they partnered with WPI. This cooperation is what pulling needs moving forward.
It will be interesting seen how their classes (and hopefully some events) are streamline and unified in the next couple of years.

So Fullpull is the source of the funding? What is the WPI/NTPA role if they didn't provide the capital? In order to know if it were a great move or not, wouldn't you need to know what they paid for it?
