What are the tractor rules? same as most pulls? 1% grace on weight, 20" hitch, wheelie bars, kill switch, shatter blanket?

I am considering coming over to this pull as I heard it is a good pull.

450' sand trap track-bad sled-the rules are there are no rules-well only if you are not from the area or do not have a jd then there are rules for you. it is just a drunkin hillbilly fest. if you are a real trator puller don't bother. i belive you even have to pay to get in to pull your tractor. if you like to be around drunks that are peeing behind the bleachers while you are sitting there watching the pull this is the place for you. if you want to leave civilization for a day this would be a good pull for you.

I went to Harrisville Bratfest yesterday, pulled a tractor in the morning antique pull, stayed and watched freinds and family at the night pull. It was a great day and the weather held out.
I think they need to sell tee shirts that say "I peed behind the bleachers at Bratfest" I would buy a couple of them, and I'll be back there next year. Thats a hard working group that puts on a good show.

antique and farm have horsepower and rpm limits checked with dyno, special 7500 is 320 cube limit 3000 rpm, 9500 special is 410 cube limit 3000 rpm stock core pumps, to hot to farm is 619 cube limit 3000 rpm, and open is all safety equipment required and 20 in drawbar for all tractors.

Does anyone know where you can see the results of the 2011 pulls? A couple of my friends from Berlin,WI pulled and I want to see how they did. I know Ben Trochinski got first. But all my other friends, I don't know what htey pulled. So, if anyone knows anything, could you please post a link?! Thanks!

Where is Harrisville..........Wisconsin? What is the 6000 v8 class? big block rail? small block hot rod? I have friends that live near there. Might come up and pull if my small block tractor will fit the class.

Re: Harrisville truck n tractor pull Sept. 4th August 31, 2011 12:10PM
so is open strictly tractors or are mods allowed? and is the scale before you pull or after. 7500 # is a light class and want to make the weight safely ( would want some weight on the front end to keep it under control) so I would need to check as I normally run a bit more then that. Some pulls have a 1% rule or allow 50# is this the case there too?

Re: Harrisville truck n tractor pull Sept. 4th September 08, 2011 11:58AM
Just like to thank all of you who came to pull and/or watch the pull. We had a really good day and hope to see you next year!!!!

Re: Harrisville truck n tractor pull Sept. 4th September 08, 2011 02:30PM
You wont see me back there unless you give the pullers a break on admission. $15 a person and no decent payback, fuel prices and upkeep of the equipment...Where do you think we all get this money from? We are the show and without the pullers you wont have a show.

harrisville: armpit of the world.

Re: Harrisville truck n tractor pull Sept. 4th September 10, 2011 04:49AM
Limited pro I completely agree with you, i have been saying that since admission has been charged. I think 2 pit passes should be allowed per tractor and no entry fee. Why does there need to be profit on the pullers expense to fill the stands? This event is always very successful and the fire department needs to pay attention to who makes it a success. They could always quit pulling and hire like a counrty singer to come in for the main attraction, but wait that would cost money on their part.

Re: Harrisville truck n tractor pull Sept. 4th September 10, 2011 06:42AM
I agree $15.00 gate fee for Pullers and crew is just wrong and $3.00 Brats . heck you should all try going to Loyal corn fest there ya buy a $2.00 buttun ya can eat all the sweet corn you want to all weekend long. And pay back is buch better. The Harrisville pull it self was nice . Just wondering why the pullers and their crews and famlies have to pay pay so much to watch their blood sweet and tears go down the track just my opinion
