Has anyone used a set of Dana planetaries in a component superstock tractor? Just wondering how they are compared to the Franklins or the Cat 966.

The franklins are Dana F230 and F235 these are popular for pulling because of cost.
The 966 are good also but pricier

I didn't relize that the Dana and the Franklins were the same. I got ahold of a Steiger website and seen that the 230 series of Dana's were used on some of there tractors.

Also, the Steiger Bearcat and the Allis Chalmers 440 are the same thing. They both have the Dana/Franklin 230 planetaries.
