tools, I don't recall any recent discussion about a DT360 in a 560. There was an informative discussion about using a 400 series. The guy asked for help, not a beat down. I haven't done this swap, so I can't help, and aparently neither can you.

The back of the block is the same, the 360 is just inches shorter than the 400.
Sorry for trying to inject a modicum of common sense.

I agree with the beating a dead horse on here. All you guys ever post about is tractor pull this, and tractor pull that. Hell, if a guy didn't know any better, you might think that people come to this board to read about tractor pulling!

966 adapter plate November 02, 2011 02:07PM
Isn't the adapter plate the same on a 966 will bolt up dt360 to 560 rear?

Just get a 966 or 1066 backplate and bolt it up. I would get a flat flyweel and a powerstroke starter setup from Rursch

Do you have to run a powerstroke flywheel and starter? And if so what r the advantages Also what kind of injectors would be the best

just the ford starter and ring gear. Depends what class I guess. Anything with some power will want a good clutch

hey i was wondering and did not want to beat a dead horse or anything but what would be a good injector set up on a dt360 something with a mild pump that we are building thanks and i hope i didnt cause anyone to get mad over my simple question
