should be 14mm X 1.5, and just tight. Not really a critical item like a rod bolt. So roughly 30 ft lbs.

Make sure your using copper or alum seal washers and not the fiber or gasket type washers.

The regulator chatters pretty good when by passing a lot of fuel. Vibration maybe shaking it loose??Yes am using copper washers.

If your sure about the condition of the treads and as you stated are using copper gasket rings. Take the banjo bolt and drill a hole through the head for a safety wire to pass through. Or if your good with a torch, take a nut, drill a hole through it for a safety wire and braze it onto the top of the banjo bolt and pass a safety wire through it so it cant back out.

However I must say, vibration considered, I've never heard of one constantly backing out because of vibration. So just an easy idea I had to solve the issue. My .02 cents worth...Smiling

Sounds to me like he has a big fitting hanging off of it at a 90* angle, so it's constantly trying to loosen from the leverage. Turn it so gravity keeps it tight, instead of loosening it.

Thanks for the all the help. Got er fixed. Did away with banjo and worked with gravity in our favor.
