Looking at a couple DT466 truck motors out of mid-90s international trucks. What years/series will work to build a pulling engine out of. What years or model numbers do I want to avoid? Assuming I want one that is all mechanical? Thanks in advance. |

The 468s would be your best bet or a late 467 they are mid 90 you dont want the Detroit style engines |

If the injection pump sits up higher it’s a Detroit style correct? |

All the true IH engines have either a Model 100, Bosch A, or MW pump. If it sits high and has a P pump, it's a Navistar New Generation, and it's very different, also marketed as Detroit 40 series, or Perkins 1300 series. |
