any good air mechanics forums? id like to bounce ideas to convert avgas engine to jetfuel

That's opposite the direction that most people would go around here. In the pulling world it's popular to convert engines from Diesel to Alcohol (Gas) and not the other way around.

Just for info though, here's an article that talks about "the conversion" (or more likely the tech to make it happen), and then a podcast where a rep for the company describes the changes needed.

thanks for the reply. im asking because aid groups need planes to reach remote areas. in many areas avgas is $19 /gal... fuel cost really hurts em. and of course they cant afford to get turboprops all at once.
