This has been a year in the works , the labor is starting to pay off as the tractor is coming together piece by piece , I will post more as time allows , thanks for looking Dane and Nick Pickerell

Our rack came from an old race car , I dont know what brand it is, my son does all the fabricating, and has lots of drag racing friends.

On your frame can you not tie in the tie bars? And make the frame like a component tractor. Do you have a way to follow this build (facebook)?

We arent that far yet on te build , things should start back soon on the build , we have been a year getting this far plus rebuilding 3 other tractors for friends, The friends tractors are done now so ours will go together soon. Thanks Dane & Nick Pickerell

Progress got slowed down when we found a huge flaw in the engine configuration we were trying, We had 3204 Caterpiller rods with custom Ross pistons to de cube the 8.3 , to 466 needless to say the rods aren't strong enough for what we were using them for.
So back to the drawing board
We are getting some custom rods built, [A wee bit longer ], and more custom Ross pistons made to suit our application.
Thanks for following our build , and all the comments help to keep our hopes up for the day when this thing will make it down the track ,and back to the truck still running.

Finally got her running , got 2 so,so passes ,now it's time to start tuning and get this thing down the track with some respectable results

The initial run on the new motor looks promissing What is your target weight class oe classes? Keep up the great work and us posted, it's nice to see something different than the usual JD and IH models.

We are right with the other tractors in our class, all the pulls this weekend are rained out.
We were hoping to get some more hooks in and get some good data on our logger ,to do some more tuning.


At the end of the video look where the front of the sled is sitting , at least 10 inches of hitch height was lost .we have some learning to do with this setup.
Maybe soon we will get it all figured out and make the ole WHITE a reputable tractor. thanks for all the comments and compliments, Dane & Nick Pickerelll

Its the sled, the rear push down on the pan creates that to stop the pull .

I have an all new tube frame with cage all new aluminum body chassis with 3208 motor build started for sale. Chassis just needs wiring and motor finished. 16000 for chassis. 20000 with motor in middle stage of build. Don't ask for pics if not serious. As nice or nicer than this chassis. But with 3208 cat. Will complete for 40000

Did your RPM filter box mess up too? Mine has done the same thing, I'd replace those cheap components with a printes circuit board for a more reliable RPM fooler box. That worked for me, they haven't caught me going over RPMs since the "upgrade".
