how many cubes can you get out of a cockshutt 40 with a buda motor was told 4.5 bore with a 6 stroke is possable??? thanks for any info

Maybe a 4 inch bore (maybe) and maybe 5 inch stroke.....equals 377 cubes.

I've been told 4" bore and 5.5" stroke but I have trouble believing it. There is NO room in that motor.

Interesting thought here. Are we sure we're talking about the thin walled Buda motor or a 3400 Hercules in the Cockshutt ? Not an uncommon swap. Would change the conversation. The Cockshutts/Co-Ops are neat pieces, those Buda motors are smoooth runners.
