Will Bigger Temptation still have the Scania block for 2016? Has that proven to be a better block than the 504?

The parts are all rebuilt and here to put it back together. We will see how much time we have to get it back on the track. The two light weight tractors come first.

The 674 Saab-Scania block was in multiple Case 4WD models. Wonder if that would be a good block for PS?

Every prostock ppl pull ive been to there are a ton of people asking why they are all john deeres. John deere is only brand that gets to run an engine from a 4wd tractor. If your going to have a 680ci limit make it a so everyone can run an engine from a 4wd tractor and you might actually see some more variety.

The 531-619 engine block was available in the John Deere 5010-5020-and 6030 Two wheel drive tractors.

The rules say oem engine which would be a 531ci block. 619ci engine was not an oem engine for two wheel drive tractors. It was offered as a replacment engine. Some don't have to follow the rules and some do but they get away with it because the rules can be change by the officials at anytime.

It's a difference without a distinction. The blocks are identical and only a bore change. Everyone in PS is changing bores so who cares if it's a 531 or a 619? Either can go right to 680 with ease.

Dont get me wrong, I am a RED guy to the core.. But the fact is that the John Deere 531 and 619 block is the same thing.

1. Maximum weight permitted 10,000#
2. Maximum cubic inch limit is 680. Maximum of 8 cylinders
permitted. OEM aftermarket replacement blocks permitted
