Farmstock 1206 April 27, 2016 01:46PM
Hello guys looking for some information on Farmall 1206 I'm wanting to pull Farm stock classes and still farm with this tractor wanting to know if a 3lm 373 would be a good choice as I'm being told 3lm 466 will be hard to keep lit when fall below a certain RPM with the 361. And I want to pull both farmstock transfer and dead weight classes as well as farm still. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm running the stock solar right now

I'd recommend an S300 instead of the 3LM. Will give you a bit more air and will be a lot more reliable in the field. If you want to get rid of that Solar id be interested.

And also on the hx40 too...
Maybe this one??NEW OEM Holset HX40 Turbo Diesel Trucks Cummins 6CT 8.3L Engine 4035235 Turbo
This is the only one that can be workable if a person made the exhaust piece that goes through the hood and it falls in a good hp range, 175-350.
CI maybe an issue on a 361, but depends on exhaust housing sizes, holset recommends 7-10L engines for an hx40

I am looking for an HX 52, do they make one with a T4 flange and .91 housing? I am having trouble locating one. they either have a T3 or they are T4 with a .88 housing. it is going on a 466 open rpm.
