I don,t have a Horse in this Race but, From past Dealings with things like this, The Local Law Enforcement will jus tell You that this is a Civil Matter, I have been there done this with a Guy from Texas, Basically the Same thing, But be very careful about getting on line and saying anything bad about this Guy or his Family, They can Actually use that against You as in Slander, and they will, My advice is to get ahold of a local Attorney in his Area, Because the laws change everywhere that you go, It might be worth $500 to reclaim your money, I would forget the motor at this point, To many things can go wrong, Good luck and I think the Saying is Lessons Learned

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.
