Hawarden, Iowa Outlaw Showdown, New classes this year!! June 01, 2016 02:23PM
The Hawarden Outlaw Showdown Truck and Tractor Pull will be Friday night, June 24th at 6:30 P.M. This year we are happy to have Outlaw Modifieds and 2WD Modified trucks! Cool

Here's the list of classes:

Modified Tractors
2WD Modified Trucks
Limited Pro Stock Tractors
Super Farm Tractors
Diesel Super Stock Tractors
Unlimited Super Stock Tractors

Hawarden is a Hard Hooking Power Track and is always a good pull. Sadly, the Hinton pull has come to an end but only 30 miles northwest is a Great Pull that will more than fill the need!

Come out to Hawarden for a Great night of pulling! We have added more bleachers this year. Lawn chairs and coolers welcome!

Last year was a good pull. They moved the machines through with little downtime.

Just a reminder to come on out to Hawarden, Iowa this Friday night, June 24th! The weather forecast is calling for sunshine and high 80s. It will be a great pull!! Hope to see you there!!

The weather is great today! A little humid with highs in the upper 80s.

Good pull but they need serious help with food stands. Hockey pucks for hamburgers and rot gut hotdogs will not cut it for a good northwest Iowa outlaw pull. brats,brat patties, pork chop sandwiches, pizza ranch pizza would be a good start for a great tractor pull

I appreciate your input! We have always had the Pizza Ranch there but unfortunately there was a serious personal issue and Pizza Ranch was not able to be there this year. We have a Great track, Great pull and we will work harder in the future to serve Great food.

Well thank you for replying and considering the food stands for years to come. It is a good pull and will turn to great pull with many more fans when you get some decent food at the pull. When it is a 630 or even 7 start it helps to attend a event with good food stands to not have to worry about stopping somewhere before you get to pull.

Advise taken! I personally have never gone to a pull with the menu being a consideration (although I did look forward to the homemade pie at Hinton back in the day)! But, you make a good point about the 6:30 start time and not having to rely on a stomach grenade from Caseys to get you through the night.

Rot gut hockey pucks will be gone next year.Thumbs Up

It was our first time pulling up there, and I thought it was a great facility, parking was great, we didn't mind the food, but will be back next year. Great Job!
