Re: Update- NA MINI ROD and MINI TRUCKS July 22, 2016 07:11AM
Work beginning on the track. Also new Announcer's Stand is underway.

Any NA Mini Road or Mini truck pullers,, come hook with the Dirtflingers!! Should be a great show with them guys again this year!

Re: COLBY PULLERS CLUB 8TH ANNUAL TRUCK TRACTOR PULL July 25, 2016 02:33AM
What weight is the LLSS class running. I would assume 6250 since you are using WTPA rules but want to know for sure.

Re: COLBY PULLERS CLUB 8TH ANNUAL TRUCK TRACTOR PULL July 25, 2016 11:33AM
We set it at 6500 because I believe BSTP run at that. We are trying to get as many as possible and don't wana limit. For this class were a little more flexible, but would say night of hook if everyone wants to run6250 and all can make weight that's fine. But set at 6500 in hopes of getting more hooks.

Which do guys prefer?

As far as rules, we were looking for alcohol and diesel and seems WTPA, south central BOB are same, fits smoke or not. Seeing that WTPA added classes this year it was just easy fit

Re: COLBY PULLERS CLUB 8TH ANNUAL TRUCK TRACTOR PULL July 25, 2016 01:58PM
My opinion I would prefer 6250. Seems to be the good fit between 6000 in BOB and 6500 of BSTP. I think there are now more tractors in the state running 6250 than 6500. Not to take anything away from the BSTP guys because they all have good tractors, but I think these guys need to start looking into making that weight work for them. I know my comment is going to irritate some of those guys, but they can be competitive at it.

Re: COLBY PULLERS CLUB 8TH ANNUAL TRUCK TRACTOR PULL July 25, 2016 03:37PM
Thanks for response. We are trying to grow are pull and in hopes of having larger event and bigger purses for are classes. Are thought behind LLSS class this year was try and get pullers to track and grounds in hopes its a pull they wana come back to. I should also say that for all the classes.
We are open the night of the pull of the tractors in class wana all run lighter or stay at 6500 that's ok to. I do see a lot more LLSS hooks at 6250 and agree I think any LLSS can be competitive at that weight!

We are really looking forward to seeing this class at are pull. If there is anyone out there that plans on coming and hooking and have some input on this topic please let me know. Well do whatever seems to work for everyone.

Thanks

SS FWD and MOD TWD July 27, 2016 02:16PM
Hey all super stock 4x4 and TWD guys head to Neillsville Friday and come up to Colby on Saturday night!! Make a weekend of pulling in Central Wi!!

Re: Updates August 03, 2016 02:32PM
Hey guys, we will be putting some updates regarding parking, and new registration format and forms on our FACEBOOK page in next day or so. If u don't have Facebook and plan to attend please reply to this and I can email it to you. Remeber north side parking is PULLERS only .. ALL other vehicles must be on south side. U can get to pits from spectator side. Make sure to check out Wisconson Pulling Promoters site next week!! Great website doing great thinks for our sport!!

Week away!! August 07, 2016 02:54PM
Less. Then a week away!! Everyone please take a listen to our interview with WI Pulling Promotors from last week! It will be loaded on to our Facebook tommorow!!

Also there had been some questions about our 6500 LLSS class. This is a LLSS class not an open class. If u meet the rules of a WTPA, Badger State, South Central or BOB then u fit. If not, then this class is not for you.

Thanks everyone!

8500 open August 08, 2016 03:45PM
Just reminder on 8500 open. Any single charger, super farm, light pro, limited pro, pro stock this one is for you!! Come hook on put some smoke in the air and see what happens!!

DIESEL TRUCK CLASS CORRECTION August 09, 2016 04:28AM
DIESEL TRUCK PULLERS. WE NOTICED ON OUR POSTER IT SHOWS A STOCK DIESEL CLASS. THIS CLASS WILL BE FOLLOWING THE MIDSTATE PULLERS OF WI 2.5 DIESEL CLASS. I APOLIGIZE FOR THE CONFUSION.

THANK YOU

LLSS update August 09, 2016 10:20AM
All LLSS pullers. I understand there are some issues with difference in weight between 6250 and 6500. When we did this class we tried to make the weight that everyone could run. With limited numbers and not knowing if anyone is going to come, we will leave it at 6500. If anyone is coming please call myself at 715-316-8242 or Brett 715-613-3708., if u have any questions.
Thanks

Re: LLSS update August 09, 2016 12:50PM
So were does the Mid-State Pullers 8000 pd smoker tractor class fit in?

Re: LLSS update August 09, 2016 04:01PM
They would run in the 8500. When we were finalizing are poster and the pull, the change from Central to Midstate was still in the works. At that time because we didn't know what was going to happen, we made it open in hopes to get some tractors. My question for Midstate, has the Club reformed?? If so, is there anything diffrent from way Central was regarding rules/guidelines or what are the plans moving forward? WIll there be points hooks like in past??

thanks for question. Going to be cool to see plans for Midstate Pullers of WI.

Re: LLSS update August 09, 2016 09:14PM
Mid-State has formed. Basic rules are the same for all classes as before and they are having a points series.

THANKS FOR INFO August 10, 2016 04:40AM
That's great!! glad to see it continue. looking forward to seeing everyone run this weekend!

Re: THANKS FOR INFO August 10, 2016 02:45PM
Your little buddy Scotty knew about the new club in Thorp already. leave a contact number i dont want to talk about this on here

Re: THANKS FOR INFO August 10, 2016 04:27PM
We all new things were in the works.. I guess I don't understand what trying to imply with that statement. But I would be glad to explain why in June we had to make a decision about this years pull.

Re: INFO August 12, 2016 04:19AM
Hey Guys,

Just a reminder PULLERS ONLY/PIT PARKING turn east at stop light in Colby, by the feed mill. This is for PULLERS only, all other vehicles must park in the spectator parking. To get to the spectator parking, if coming from the NORTH, continue south through the stop light. Turn east on CTH N near Pro Vision Gas station. Continue East 1/4 mile turn left in Colby Industrial Park, follow the signs around.

As in past we have fenced walk way from south side to pits.

FOR PULLERS ENTERING. EVERYONE COMING IN WILL BE CHARGED 10.00. You will be given registration form for you to complete and bring up to Registrartion Window. Please PRINT CLEARLY. When you register and turn in the form, your 10.00 will be credited back and registration will actually only cost 15.00. In years past, pullers would wait until the end to sign up and try to get to bottom of class. This year we are using a computer based system, please complete forms and turned in as soon as possible!!

Pullers pulling into pits will be met by parking staff, who will get you into your spot.

Looking forward to a great night weather looks to be great!

Re: INFO August 12, 2016 06:32AM
That's to much money ur charging at least u could let1pit person in with truck

Re: INFO August 12, 2016 04:31PM
We have done it both ways. I guess we made decision to go with this. Less confusing for gate people and found a lot of people took advantage of it. I appreciate ur input and I'm sure it will be talked about in coming months.

Weather update August 13, 2016 12:28AM
Central WI got rain last night. Sun suppose to push out this morning. Pits wet now, but as of now show still on. If at all possible, gates open at 3pm. Please start coming in as close to that time as possible.

Will update here and Facebook if anything changes.

Thank you

Re: Weather update August 22, 2016 05:33AM
Any word on how many LLSS showed up for this event and what the results were? Just wondering how it went.

Thanks to anyone who has results.

Re: Weather update August 22, 2016 06:50AM
We had 4 tractors pull in our LLSS class.

I believe Brian Miller ( Case of Alcoholism) was the winner!!

We will be posting our Results on facebook page..

I want to thank them four and all of our PULLERS and FANS!!

Looking forward to some changes and additions to the pull and grounds for next year!!

Re: Weather update August 22, 2016 12:30PM
LLSS entries were Brian Miller, Jeremy Roff, Jeremy Spates and Jake Carey. I believe they finished in that order, but Roff and Spates were very close for 2nd and 3rd so I could have those mixed up.
