Re: 6th Annual Glenwood City FFA Alumni Tractor & Truck Pull September 02, 2016 11:09AM
Is this the pull that used to be called "Rustic Lore Days"?

Re: 6th Annual Glenwood City FFA Alumni Tractor & Truck Pull September 02, 2016 03:57PM
This pull is happening during the rustic lore festival however as far as I know it's been under the FFA alumni for the last several years to the best of my knowledge.

Re: 6th Annual Glenwood City FFA Alumni Tractor & Truck Pull September 02, 2016 11:11PM
Yes it is the same weekend as Rustic Lore days,
Put on by the FFA alumni. They made some changes this year to have a better pull. Let's hope for good weather and come support the alumni

Re: 6th Annual Glenwood City FFA Alumni Tractor & Truck Pull September 04, 2016 02:10AM
Not sure more classes and less payoutso is the way to make that happen

Weight bracket rule September 04, 2016 08:03AM
Is the weight bracket rule really for every class? The normal rule is 11ft from the rear axle for us little tractors. I don't have that big of a bracket but I think with the weights on it it's over 2 feet from the front. I will have to get out and measure I guess. I am way inside the normal 11 foot rule. Can you give me an answer either way on what the rule is or what you mean for it to be?

Re: Weight bracket rule September 04, 2016 10:33AM
The rule was made with the intention of having the bracket itself not be more than 2 feet out from the front of the tractor. If your weights happen to be shaped that they fall outside that measurement you will not be penalized. We will be making changes to the wording for next years rules but did not want to add confusion by changing things this close to our pull. If anyone needs further clarification please don't hesitate to contact Mike Erickson 715-977-2142 with questions.

Re: Weight bracket rule September 05, 2016 04:54AM
We wondering if the speed limit for hot off the farm could be raised to 13 or 15 miles per hour? I'm not sure why you have it 10 for stock and hotConfused ? We belive that would bring up more tractors from down south up to hook. Looking foward to pulling up there again this year hopefully it will be better then last years!

Re: Weight bracket rule September 05, 2016 05:15AM
We would love to hear more input for improvement for next year! If you make it up to the pull and wouldn't mind filling out one of the comment cards or having a chat with one of our track officials we will take everything into account for next years rules.

2 Days and counting! September 07, 2016 06:37AM
Just 2 Days until the weekend starts and we hope you will join us in Glenwood City to kick off the town festival and help us support our FFA Student Chapter! Remember if you have any questions to call Mike Erickson 715-977-2142.

Re: 6th Annual Glenwood City FFA Alumni Tractor & Truck Pull September 09, 2016 02:40AM
Is the pull still going to be on? Is the track still covered?

Re: 6th Annual Glenwood City FFA Alumni Tractor & Truck Pull September 09, 2016 04:54AM
If pull goes on I feel sorry for all the trucks and trailers that are going to be buried in the pit areas

Re: 6th Annual Glenwood City FFA Alumni Tractor & Truck Pull September 09, 2016 06:47AM
Just drove past the pull area, track appeared to be worked. Pits area looked ok. That's why they have big tractors to help pull people out if needed, hopefully not tho!
