Ive been hearing some talk of some National type rules getting set up for the class. when and were is this going to happen. And is there any talk of letting the diesels run a big turbo like they do in KY |

I'd say the 3.6 will be gone after this year. Rags has shown that a 3 inch charger can handle the spark plugs. |

Well I think you in a way could call it a three inch. Since theres no rule saying you cant move the map ring in front of the compressor wheal in a up and down position Instead of underneath it like designed from the factory |

I have been told it is someone from the old ATPA that is trying to put together a set of rules so all LLSS can pull all over the country.......
I am told the 3.6 turbo is out and weight will be 6250lbs, I am sure I am wrong but that is what I was told. |

Its to get some rules together for the pulls Ed gets put on and yes the 3.6 needs to go 3 inch is big enough for everybody and you can take a 3.6 and make it work like a 3.450 if theres no rule were the map ring is maybe smooth bore for every body or the map for every body it sure is a waste to pay someone to weld up horses that's already built into every turbo we use |

I ment to say you can take the 3.6 hx82 make it 3 inch legal and put the 250 map in the right place wich would make it 3,250 since theres realy no rule were it goes and get a lot more a little grey area that needs to be looked at |

I think they will change the turbo rules on the diesles they were just for trial .If not the class is on its way down 3.6 and 4.1 s with front faceing maps and 41/2 ex is to much with the technology and horsepower they are putting and getting out in of the the little 5.9 cummins 470 should dominate |

There has been two different tractors in the last 5 years that has pretty much dominated, and they were spark plug motors. Nobody wanted to take a thing away from them. Now that there is a diesel or two running strong ( but by no way dominating ) first thing that wants to be done is change there turbo! |

If Allen had his engine in a 180 allis instead of a d21 were he could cary 500 more pounds to help control it he would have won every pull and did win every time it didn't get crazy and figure the 3 diesel tractors wins and top 3 finishes against the the 30 spark plug tractors they totally dominated the class the diesel truck pullers are getting 1800 hp out of 400 cubic inches running the 4.1 turbo with front facing slots and a 41/2 ex and yes theyre running a inter cooler but 400 and down can run them in this class to |
Re: Rules llss

Allen & Lindsey could use a 3lm 466 and figure out how to win . Class may have to limit the Moores to a 301 single charger to slow them down lol. Allen has earned the top spot the hard way he worked for it many long nights pulling that ole tractor .Not all diesels in the class run as well as Ole Rags either. |
Re: Rules llss

Well now
|
He's good but you done stretched it way out there Deere allis lol |

FACTS

Well Dear Allis that's even more of a reason to go back to a 3by 4 instead of a 41/2 by 4.1 LOL |

Tired of it

Allen and Lindsey have earned it " CONGRATULATIONS ",they are that good,I've known them for years, they've spent many a night working to make it work and it's paid off, there's know one any better with a 426 than Allen, they didn't want to change the rules when Sipes was dominating they just stayed at it and figured something out |
