706 ring and pinion October 19, 2016 03:31PM
Is this ring and pinion going to be too fast for a 8500 limited pro or not? Direct is all we have at the moment.

Well no way to answer that question without lots more info unfortunately.

Re: 706 ring and pinion October 20, 2016 02:53PM
Is it built to turn rpm or lug?

Re: 706 ring and pinion October 20, 2016 03:56PM
Thanks for helping! Should have fairly decent lug but hope to keep some rpm's

Re: 706 ring and pinion October 21, 2016 12:24AM
It'll have to carry some decent rpm to be fast enough, however if you don't make pretty good torque faster gears won't be the anewer either

Re: 706 ring and pinion October 21, 2016 08:30AM
Thanks guys. Just don't want to get carried away with gears without some input with this faster ring & pinion. Do most run the 706 or do they use the slower ones if you don't mind me asking.

Re: 706 ring and pinion October 21, 2016 11:14AM
They seem to use a little bit of everything as far as ring and pinion goes. How your engine is set up to run dictates your best gearing packages. You can message me on here or my # is on my profile if you need more info
