My guess is this is a strickly 4cyl class?...
If its a cubic inch class i think you might be better off with a 401 decubed......as far as max cubes on a 4cyl....if you started with a 304 then had her bored n stroked 360 is about all your gonna get out of it

Re: 4cyl ford November 13, 2016 01:04AM
Thanks its the 6000 light hot farm class I was just thinking of something other than a 560 with a 466 in it rules are 400 and down p pump 3500 rpm 400 to 470 a pump 3000 rpms and a Apump I may be interested in a tractor or even a project that needs finished 270 566 2901 if stick boys engine would fit in with this I might be interested thanks

Re: 4cyl ford November 13, 2016 12:43PM
Ive been told 540 is about it for a 456 and still have it fairly reliable....do the math....comes out to 90cid per cyl...x by 4 = 360cid

Re: 4cyl ford November 13, 2016 01:05AM
Why do you think 360. Isnt the 304 block the same as a 456 just two holes short? What are 456 able to get?

Re: 4cyl ford November 13, 2016 01:15PM
Just curious , what's winning in the class now ? Any videos of the class ?

Re: 4cyl ford November 13, 2016 02:07PM
Currently the class is all RED. I know of an oliver, ford, and JD in the works. The class was just voted in with KTPA for a sanctioned class in 2017
