NTPA Rule proposals.... Any thoughts on what will get proposed? August 21, 2017 03:41PM
The past couple years there seems to be something out of left field that gets approved, then tabled. Two years ago it was in LSS, last year it was restrictor plates for DSS. The Enderle when the proposals will be made is a few weeks away.

Two questions: 1) Have you heard of any rule proposals that will likely be offered in any class; and
2) What rule changes would you like to see offered, whether specific to a class, or general competition rules (such as track length, event procedure, pulloffs or not, etc)?

The last couple of years, it has been proposed to allow EFI to be used in various classes. Is it time to allow newer technology to be brought to the forefront? Semms the pros might outweigh the cons.

I understand that efi would bring a new set of headaches to the pulling world, but would also in turn bring new blood and different iron (turbos/procharger set ups). Would be a nice addition to the pulling track!

Can't wait till EFI is legal!
Much easier to do traction control with EFI than a dirty old magneto, or plain old ignition box!

Has there been any word on the restrictor plate deal?
