Front tires November 14, 2017 08:41AM
Does anyone know what size of front tires the pro stock tractors are running, I have 9.5L on 15” rim and want to go to the wider tire. Where can you buy them? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!

I think a lot of them are running 11L 15’s on anywhere from a 10 inch to a 12 inch wide wheel. Depends on how ballooned out you want them to look.

The most popular look is a 11L15 on a 10" wide wheel. The BKT Prorib tire is an excellent casing for this. We do have them available as well as front rims.

You should have a look at the Firestone Destination Farm tires. The 280/70R15 tire provides a cleaner, low profile look compared to the standard 11L-15's. It has a lot of new technology not really needed for pulling. The low profile look really nails the look... Check out Ryan Walters Chasin Tail sporting them. And BTW, they're made in the U.S.A........

Take an 11L-15 and put it on a 15x12 rim. That will squat that tire and give you the wide look your looking for.

Any truth to firestone discontinued their 11lx15 four ribs tires?
