Who were the Big time Allis pullers back in the day when it was cheap and fun? There in the 70,s and 80,s AC seemed to be on top, what gave them the advantage then?

Go to YouTube and type in ntpa hall of fame , look for the quad squad guys, very interesting
and cool, they got the ball rolling for allis

With all due respect to the Quad Squad guys (and they deserve tons of respect), the ball was already rolling.

Ask Al Koch or John Lancaster, and they will tell you there were AC guys they looked up to when they got started.

Yeah, likely the Bobb Bros., plus McKinnon Bros., Gord Oughtred, Noble & ND Harrison. It was nice that A-C engine engineering was very helpful in very early '70's, too.
