Want to build LLSS on alcohol. Wana use 560 rear dt 360 motor.
Can rear take it?? What has to be done with trans?

Needle rearend an stick a profab in front of it,a stock transmission will work with custom gears.Alot of people run them, hardly ever see rearend or transmission breakage, it does happen on rare occasions.

Ask the "too much fun " and just for fun" guys , they run alky with the Outlaws. BTW ..... no rearend breakage? hmmmmmm I got to watch in person at Rock Valley a few yrs ago when one of them nearly took an axle housing clean off draining near all the oil at about 75-100 foot mark

Didn't know OUTLAWS ran LLSS ? Are the " just for fun an too much fun " DT 360s an do they run LLSS ?

NOT everything is LLSS just so ya know.. Outlaws run the cast LSS which is also what I run and those 2 tractors are in that class

And he ask about building a LIGHT LIMITED SUPER STOCK-- NOT a super- therefore 1 charger compared to 3 or 4-- that means-- not as much stress on the transmission and rearend, just answering HIS questions !!!!!

Actually the 2 tractors he is talking about are single charger tractors that pretty much fit the LLSS rules.

THANK YOU Yes those 2 tractors are single charger. On that note not ALL LSS tractors have 3-4 turbos ............ I run a single on mine too. Seems to be a misconception on super classes.

A steal carrier will be a good investment you may get by a couple years with the stock one but they eventually break,Atlas has started keeping most of the stuff in stock A one piece input shaft,constent mesh gears and a couple pulling gears and press a a solid rod in the hollow shaft in the transmission I have done a couple and a couple of the 360 engines if you need help

766 and 886 in 2wd tractors. Lots of bus's and trucks had them but they are a different bore and stroke than their ag counterparts. The ag engines were never offered turbocharged from the factory either.

Too much fun and just for fun are a 460 and a 656 rearend. Not sure which is which, but the 460 has a dt360 in front of it and the 656 has a 301. I was told the 460 will be upgraded to another 656 soon.
