Pullers get your applications sent in. Classes will fill up fast. In the past they would always let you apply late and still accept you but everyone has learned that no one wants till pull till midnight anymore, good fast paced shows. Get the apps in! Visit this link [www.whatssmokin.net] and click on puller application. If you need to talk to Klint at 309 712 1406

This super farm rule is confusing "6. Intercoolers are NOT permitted with the use of water and/or ice only." So can you use air to air? Can leave intercooler on, but can't use water or ice?

If I don't have a hotel yet is it too late? This has been a crazy year. We are in the middle of harvest and building new house. I would like to go but it will be a last minute thing if I can go. Have never been so I don't know the procedure. Any advice.

Plenty of hotels in the area. I would think some spectators could share what hotels they stay at.

Lots of places in Champaign/Urbana. Only a 15 minute drive.

Re: Gordyville October 17, 2018 12:52PM
We stay in Champaign. Theres lots of nice resteraunts/chains there to eat at, and nice hotels reasonably priced. And lots of rooms available usually. We stay at Wingate.

The quarters inn in Rantoul is a good experience if you not to fussy. I've stayed there for both Gordyville and the Half Century of Progress show. Always interesting there. Got to take part in a fire drill once too. Somebody microwaved a muffin with the wrapper still on at 2am.

That's funny stuff! Glad to get a laugh from this post! Fun memories while at a tractor pull event. We have plenty good times to cherish as well. We stayed at a hotel in Champaign where the bed was short and my feet hung over the end of the bed. That's why we do what we do with family and friends, have a good time, all this while a tractor pull is going on in the back ground. Good time and great story Dillons Diesel.
