KC Indoor Pull

Entry applications are now being accepted for the "Cowtown Showdown" indoor pull in Kansas City. You can submut your entry by logging on to Xfuellive.com. You will have to create a driver profile and then submit your entry. The "Cowtown Showdown" is a 4-session pull scheduled March 14-16, 2019. |

Im guessing they are going to be MSTPA LLSS rules. You might look at the MSTPA page for rules and I can tell you now get the crying towels for the LLSS pullers |

Why do we need to enter a puller profile just to look at the rules? There's a good chance I'm out that weekend for a wedding but would like to see if my tractor fits the rules first and maybe have someone else pull it. |

Yea, makes you wonder what you'd face once you got there,i aint gonna load an travel that much distance " 3 states " with no more information than their releasing, so i ain't planning on it. |

6,500 Light Limited Super Stock
6,500 Light Limited Super Stock 1. Front Hitch - All vehicles must have a front hitch attached to the vehicle that is capable of supporting the weight of the front of the vehicle. It must be the furthest most point on the vehicle and be centrally located. The hitch must have a minimum of a 3 inch diameter hole to allow for the 3 point mounted hitches on the movers to manipulate the competing vehicles. No weights are to be positioned next to the hitch in a way that may restrict the turning radius of the movers once they have picked up the front of the vehicle. 2. Chassis - Maximum of 114 inch wheelbase unless originally produced with a longer wheelbase at which point the wheelbase will remain stock. Maximum length of 13 feet from center of rear axle to forward-most point of vehicle excluding the front hitch. No component tractors allowed. Wide front ends only. Must be OEM tractor rear end and transmission. No Component chassis allowed. 3. Drawbar - Must be a minimum of 18 inches behind center of rear axle, a maximum of 20 inches in height, and be ridged in all directions. Hitching eye to be a minimum of 1 inch thick with a 3 inch by 3.5 inches inside diameter hole. 4. Floorboard - All vehicles must be equipped with a floorboard. 5. Fenders - All tractors must have fenders and must support weight of driver. Top of fender must extend no less than a 6 inches over the top of the tires. 6. Roll Cage - Tractors must be equipped with a roll cage with an SFI 5 point harness. 7. Engine - Engine must be OEM designed block and match the vehicle’s drive line or factory replacement block for that tractor with factory appearing head for that tractor at the time of manufacture. 8. Weight / Cubic Inch: 6,400 lbs. For all 370 c.i.d. Alcohol tractors and 466 c.i.d. Diesel tractors 6,500 lbs. For 410 c.i.d. and below tractors with intercoolers 6,700 lbs. For 410 c.i.d. below tractors without intercoolers 9. Fuel Pump - Bosch P-3000 or P-7100 series pump maximum, NO 8000 series P-pumps allowed. No Sigma pumps allowed. 10. Fuel allowed is diesel, alcohol, gasoline, and propane may be used. Water injection allowed. Water for water injection systems and/or diesel fuel may be provided unannounced at any pull by tech officials for all competitors in a class or all classes. 11. Fuel Tanks - No pressurized tanks except propane, when used as a primary fuel only. 12. Turbo Rules: Badger State & ECITPA tractors: 410 c.i.d. and below with a intercooler are limited to one 3" by 4" turbocharger with NO MAP INHANCEMENT GROOVES: 315 c.i.d. and below with a intercooler are limited to two 3" by 4" turbochargers with NO MAP ENHANCEMENT GROOVES. Missouri State Tractors: 360 c.i.d. and below turbo compressor measurement to be measured at the face of the wheel inlet a maximum of 3.0 inches. The wheel may be no larger than this measurement at the inlet. One map width enhancement groove of .200 allowed. Wheel must protrude into housing 1/8 of an inch. Must be no larger than 3 inches on front side of map width enhancement groove. At least 1/8 inch on back side of map width enhancement groove must be no larger than 3.2 inches in diameter. Exhaust outlet is to be no larger than four inches at the face of the exhaust wheel. Exhaust wheel shall be no larger than 4 inch at its face and taper back from face evenly with no steps. X Caliber tractors: 410 c.i.d. and below with NO INTERCOOLER are limited to one 3" by 4" turbocharger with MAP INHANCEMENT GROOVES. SCWTP, KTPA & B.O.B. tractors: 466 c.i.d. and below Diesel tractors are limited to one 3.4" smooth bore turbocharger. 370 c.i.d. and below are limited to one 3" inlet turbo charger. The wheel may be no larger than this measurement at the inlet. One map width enhancement groove of .200 allowed. Wheel must protrude into housing 1/8 of an inch. Must be no larger than 3 inches on front side of map width enhancement groove. At least 1/8 inch on back side of map width enhancement groove must be no larger than 3.2 inches in diameter. Exhaust outlet is to be no larger than four inches at the face of the exhaust wheel. Exhaust wheel shall be no larger than 4 inch at its face and taper back from face evenly with no steps. General Turbo Rules: Only one turbo charger with one pressure stage will be allowed. The only exception being those diesels with 315 cid or less. Those vehicles are allowed to run (2) turbo chargers under the following guidelines. The compressor housing will have no larger than a 3 inch inlet measured at the smallest diameter area of the compressor wheel. No downsizing of the compressor housing ahead of the wheel will be allowed. The exhaust housing being no larger than a 4 inch outlet measured as above. Inlet will be measured using a 3.005 inch slug, exhaust using a 4.005 inch slug. Turbo must be under hood or shrouded end to end and 360 degrees around with .060 inch steel or heavier. It must be shrouded if under a fiberglass hood. 13. Air Shutoff: Diesel powered vehicles must have a cable operated engine air intake shutoff device. Device cannot be a butterfly type and must be spring loaded. Cable must be located approximately 4 feet above the point of hook and within 6 inches of the center of the vehicle. Device must prevent the engine from building boost. The sled requires a 2 inch ring or equivalent be attached at the end of the cable. Mount cable in clear view. Do not mount below weights. Non-diesel powered vehicles must have a cable operated electric cutoff switch mounted on the rear of the vehicle. This switch is to kill spark to the engine and shut off electric fuel supply pumps in the event that the switch is activated. 14. Dump Valve - A 3-way fuel dump valve is required ahead of the injection pump. This valve is to be operated by a cable on the dash. Diesel only. 15. Neutral Start: Vehicle must not be able to be started while in gear. 16. Brakes - All tractors must have working rear brakes capable of sliding the rear tires. 17. Throttle - Throttle lever must have a spring installed such that if the throttle lever is released, the engine will return to an idle. Throttle must function such that moving the throttle lever forward, increases the engine’s RPM. 18. Stabilizer Bars - Stabilizer bars are required (no wheels allowed). The stabilizer bars cannot be bolted, welded, etc. to the drawbar in any way. The stabilizer bars must extend a minimum of 32 inches rearward from the center of the rear axle. The skid pad cannot be more than 10 inches off of the ground. The skid pad must be a minimum of 5 inch by 5 inch square. A minimum of 20 inches is allowed between the 2 skid pads. No cross bars are allowed on the stabilizer bars behind the point of hook. In addition to stabilizer bars, the vehicle must have a brace that extends vertically 12 inches from the rear most tip of skid pads. There must be a support brace extending inward to frame, axle or top of stabilizer bar arms. Materials used must be of minimum strength of materials used for stabilizer bars. Design and material must withstand severe impact of sled. Vertical brace should extend rearward a minimum 2 inch from radius of rear tires. 19. Engine Cooling Fan - Tractors must have an electric operated cooling fan. Stock steel bladed fans that are driven by a belt are not allowed. 20. Shields - All tractors must have a deflection shield on both sides of the engine, and cover the entire engine, either aluminum or steel not less than 0.060 inch thick. There must be a fire wall that separates the operator from the engine compartment with no holes other than those used for controls to pass through. In that instance, each hole is not to have more than one inch clearance around the item passing through the fire wall. .060 inch thick steel or .120 inch aluminum must run between the frames and under the harmonic balancer to prevent loss of harmonic balancer from the tractor. 21. Fire Extinguisher - Vehicle must be equipped with a minimum of a 2.5 lb. dry type or a 2 lb. Haylon type fire extinguisher that must be located within easy reach of the operator. Fire extinguisher must be fully charged. 22. Personal Safety Equipment - Driver must wear a helmet, snell rating of 85 or higher and a head sock. Driver must wear a fire suit jacket and pants, SFI 3.2A-1 minimum. Driver must wear SFI approved shoes. Driver must wear a minimum of SFI approved single layer gloves. 23. Exhaust - A smoke tube is required, indoor only. Exhaust must have two 3/8 of an inch bolts, grade 5 minimum, positioned in the exhaust tube 90 degrees to each other and with 1 inch of each other. |

Feel out the puller profile and get the rules for Gods Sake. No wonder why the LLSS class is a joke with you guys and your not going to play by your rules attitude.I will bet my last 100 dollars everyone throwing a fit and wanting to change the process for looking at rules are LLSS guys. NEWS FLASH youre not getting in even if youre wanting to come and lets be honest you just want to see the rules so you can complain about them. |
