When installing a mag on a 6 cylinder (pro mag 44) what speed do you turn the mag? Wouldn't it be 75% cam speed (or 37.5% of engine)? Or am I thinking about it wrong? Thanks

Putting the pulley ratio at 1.33 (i.e, 36 tooth mag pulley and 27 tooth drive pulley)?

Or you could speed it up 150% cam speed with a puller ratio of .667 (i.e, 36 tooth mag pulley and 54 tooth drive pulley)?

Yes, msd is driven 75% of cam speed. Msd generator magnets need to stay in time with spark trigger. Msd generators have a specific rotating direction, ccw or cw.
I'm not sure msd generator would work if it were to spin twice as fast. Maybe it would produce more power? But the spark duration would be shorter?
