Looking for the right motor
|
I am looking for a motor for a 1960’s John Deere 112 Garden tractor. I would like to have someone build it performance based diesel garden tractor for me to piss off the neighbors. If anyone has someone i can contact shoot me an email at cdogcoombe@gmail.com thanks in advance.
Also if anyone has one for sale let me know looking for like a 15 horse or more. Thx |

pissing off the neighbors should not be your first and strongest priority.Just saying, respect others, self first. |

What are you looking to do? Mow the lawn with a hot rod garden tractor? Or build a hot rod and just start it up, rev it up and make noise in the driveway?
I didnt realize the 112 came in a diesel version... |

The 112 doesn’t but i want to swap one into it. Looking to just have a powerful little garden tractor to do little jobs around the property. |

Been there

You might want to still with an older 3 speed IH cub cadet. Much stronger transmission and rear end. I've seen the 3 number series deeres leave gears and grease on the track many times before. Just speaking from experience. Good luck |

Stock altered is 36.5 cu in,1.375 in and ex valves,1 inch venturi ,flathead only with stock deck height.those numbers are way high for that combo.o good 50.5 na would be happy with 90 hp.thats open cam, valves, deck height, bore and stroke, and carb, also no restrictions on headbolt pattern.if you got a st alt making 85 90 hp you got took |
