gearing/math question January 25, 2020 05:09PM
input shaft drive tooth count is 16,countershaft driven tooth count is 35
countershaft drive tooth count is 16,pinion shaft driven tooth count is 36
pinion tooth count is 9,ring gear tooth count is 51
bull pinion tooth count is 13,bull gear tooth count is 61.
from previous explanations on here the math should be.35/16(2.18),36/16(2.25)51/9(5.66)61/13(4.69)
2.18x2.25x5.66x4.69=130.20 for a final ratio.surely this isn't correct,or is it.please help
