Minnesota Pulling Interest : June 27th June 06, 2020 10:43AM
Looking at putting on a pull on June 27th in central Minnesota. Classes aren't completely set, so if you're interested in coming, comment or send me a PM. Let me know what class/classes you're in.

Re: Minnesota Pulling Interest : June 27th June 07, 2020 02:27AM
I am interested. Classes LLSS or open upto 7500 lbs.

Re: Minnesota Pulling Interest : June 27th June 07, 2020 05:58AM
Interesting idea also! Pull from 6200 pound diesel open to 7500 pound diesel open. Thank you.

Re: Minnesota Pulling Interest : June 27th June 07, 2020 06:36AM
There's been a change in plans slightly. If you are interested, please give me a call!

Re: UPDATE MOVED TO SUNDAY JUNE 28TH June 08, 2020 11:23AM
several antique classes, maybe 5500,6500,6-7 mph? A lot of tracrors for those weights around.

Re: UPDATE MOVED TO SUNDAY JUNE 28TH June 08, 2020 12:28PM
Dave said he talked to you, can you have a 6500# open class added to the others. Is that going to be Diesel only, or open to Mods also? I know of 2 or 3 diesels that maybe interested, if they could pull 6500 and 7500#! Thanks.

Re: UPDATE MOVED TO SUNDAY JUNE 28TH June 08, 2020 02:05PM
Anything for 9500 lb 4.1 tractor ?

Re: UPDATE MOVED TO SUNDAY JUNE 28TH June 08, 2020 11:17PM
are you going to stay with the 16.9 tires to over 6000?

I think after 6000 we were planning on opening it up.

Maybe give me a call about the mods? We can talk it over and see what works! 320-221-3000

How big is the spectator area / how many vehicles do you think you can park there
How many acres is the overall area ?
Just curious what kind of crowd you think you will get ?
I'm looking at doing something like this down the road.....maybe 2 or 3 yrs down the road.

Your event is interesting to me.
Wish I could attend, but I'm in Oh. and can't get away......hope all goes well and looking forward to comments and results from your event. !

I think we have more acreage to park all of the vehicle, than room around the track for the spectators. I'm guessing we can get a couple hundred people to spectate and still have a good sightline of the track. That's why I'm going to do everything possible to get videos online and post results. Everyone is itching for new pulling content! Over 330 hooks pre-registered, I'm super excited about this event!

Awesome! I hope you'll enjoy our show! To any spectators, there will be food and beverages there, I encourage bringing some seating as there isn't much on site for bleachers. Also, I'm required to remind people we still want to be careful and keep our space from other people the best we can! And if you feel sick, please stay home! This won't be the last you hear from us this year!

Yep, that should be fine, not a lot of seating there, so maybe plan on bringing your own if you can!

There is really no gate, and I don't want to put someone out front. I won't charge spectators but they can do a free will donation if you want to do that. The money will go the the Threshing club and would help us out on future events (possibly another pull this year). Anything would be greatly appreciated!

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 11, 2020 12:36PM
I have been taking pre-registration for a few days now, if you're wondering what kind of show this will be, I'm well over 150 hooks and I have 19 pre-registered in the 12,500 Farmstock class! I think this will crown the state champion!

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 12, 2020 12:35AM
like the old days of smoke on the hill in Kingston Mn, tractor pulling all day into the night with tons of variety. i can't wait. GrinningBeer

I'm not totally sure what I'm going to do. I'm going to check in with our trophy people next week. But I might do payback in some classes? What class are you interested in?

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 13, 2020 12:32PM
I'm considering pulling in the 6500# open and the 7500# open!

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 21, 2020 08:32AM
Excited to be only 1 week away! I believe we are well over 300 hooks! A big thank you to the pullers who have pre-registered and helped make the show go as smoothly as possible! Also thank you to the sponsors:
Farm Rite Equipment
Barker Tractor and Truck Repair
LeFebvre Trucking
Riverside Tavern
Honkys Bar and Grill
Lehr Agency
Regal Tire
R&R Camper Center
Wold Fabrication
Haug Implement
Steffes Auctioneers
Melberg Farms

I uploaded a picture of the grounds. The blue lot is where I want spectators to park. Yellow, I want no people in those areas. The red areas will be the best for people hauling in with Semi's but we can probably mix in a few pickups and trailers. The purple will work well for pickup and trailers.

Spectators, bring chairs, there isn't much for bleachers there, so having your own seating is encouraged. And of course I have to remind everyone of the rules about staying away from other people and being clean. If you're sick, feel sick or have been in contact with a sick person, stay home! I'm working with some great promoters to get videos on the internet so you'll still get to see new content!

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 25, 2020 02:16PM
I got a trophy for basically every class. I wasn't sure what to do, so I was able to round up 1st place trophies for almost every class. If I can find some time before the pull I'll see what I can do!

I really appreciate the kind words. I had some disorganization in the morning and that was my fault. I won't make that mistake again. I'll keep everyone posted, but I think I'm going to start working on another one.

There was! Had a nice class of hot farm tractors. Unfortunately the hit as those guys were going and they were the end. I had 9500 open waiting to go with a real heavy hitter in that class. Sucks I didn't get to run him, but we will start planning another one. I don't like to start things and not finish.

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 29, 2020 03:38AM
So who was the heavy hitter in the 9500 open class

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 29, 2020 04:31AM
Anyone have any interest in trying to do this in Ohio
The pull in Wooster is about the only brush pull that I know of happening

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 29, 2020 09:48AM
Val Miller had his 6030 there. Dan Lange had one there. and a couple of others. GrinningBeer

Re: UPDATE : JUNE 28TH PULL INFO June 29, 2020 10:41AM
A lot of pullers, fans, tractors and volunteers working, some problems, but mostly due to big numbers, too many smaller classes, every 500 # with three div per class is JUST TOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND SOME PULLED SAME TRACTOR SIX TIMES.Any refunds for classes not finished or run at all? Thank for the good effort, but one big improvement would be an 8 foot wide grader, leveler, with the little points sticking down, makes the track work much less and more timely,

Yep, I'm working with people to get paid for hooks that weren't made! Thank you for the advice and I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as I did! I don't know how I did in 11,500 or 12,500 and I kind of don't care! A little throttle therapy went a long ways for me!
