Hmm, a PPL to NTPA purse comparison July 18, 2020 09:20AM
Alright, do not take me wrong with this reply.
1) I think it is great that Freeport is having their pull, in this CV19 laden cancellation year.

2) For quite some time on this chatboard, it has been asked numerous times what the PPL purse is, as posters adamantly blast NTPA for not paying what PPL does.
Ah, we finally have some of PPL purse schedule posted here (thank you David R).
Above posted PPL purse does not list which level of competition this pull is. I assume it is the Champions Tour purse. I think that is what they had in the past.
I pull out my 2019 NTPA rulebook. Look at GN purse for the above appropriate listed classes. NTPA way, way ahead in purse.
I compare to NTPA Region/State purse, which is still better than the above PPL.
Seems like this should settle the argument against all the NTPA purse bashers.

The purse shown here is a Champion Seed Western Series purse, not Champions Tour.

A lot of this is State level purse too. If we were running the PPL Western Series LLSS class purse it would have been $4200 . So I understand the NTPA and PPL has its differences . Just some people trying to put a good show on , so come enjoy some pulling.
