I've heard that the genesis head will fit a 401 block? What kind of work does it take to make it fit?
Thanks. |

Only thing you need is a special head gasket. Forrester's in PA sell them. If you don't get this special head gasket you'll have some milky oil before you even get a chance to fire the tractor up! I've learned from experience |

The special gasket is similar to the factory 401 gasket but it covers up holes that don't line up between the 401 block and the genesis head. |

Cav injectors don’t seat in a genesis head. Head needs to be ground to fit 401 water pump. 401 intake manifold Doesn’t mount on genesis head and once you change to genesis intake the air cleaner and turbo plumbing don’t work. You can get the correct head gasket from sparex |
