2020 Marks the sixth year for the St. Jude Raffle Tractor campaign and the most challenging one to date.

What began as a bunch of friends called the Midwest Hellions raffling off an 88 Oliver six years ago has swelled into a campaign that has raised close to $300,000 for St. Jude through the tractor raffle, and other impressive efforts at the Mean Green Pulling Team's Southern Nationals in Tunica, Mississippi during the first week of December each year.

The Southern Nationals are ON for 2020, set for December 3-4-5. Pullers from across the country, from both coasts and Canada will meet at the Paul Battle Arena not only to determine the best of the best in Antique and Classic tractor pulling but also raise more funds for St. Jude.

For 2020, we have an Oliver 77 dubbed the "Lucky 77" to be raffled off. It is set up for top-cut tractor competition. Tickets are $20 each, 6 for $100 15 for $200. Bulk ticket packages beyond that are available. Contact me (Bryan) at editor@hookmagazine.com for more information on those packages.

Last year we raised nearly $150K and many readers of this page were a part of that effort with the dueling IH M vs. JD G campaign. This year with the 77 has been down obviously with, at this writing, about $5600 raised by the tractor through limited attendance at events and shortened season. We are calling on YOU to pick up the slack just as I have been doing on Facebook, as childhood disease does not care if there is a pandemic or not. St. Jude needs our help more than ever and this is a fun way to do so. Our goal is a very "reachable" $30k for 2020, and hope we can beat that in the next few weeks. The 88 was the first year tractor in 2015, won by Jake Casey of Southern Illinois.
