Full Pull Productions has new owner November 20, 2020 08:21AM
An agreement in principle is now in place that will transfer the ownership of Full Pull
Productions, Inc. to Richard and Aimee Love of Scottdale, Pennsylvania. This sale will
put the new owners in a position to handle all of the business operations of the
corporation and have access to the additional names and titles “USA-EAST Sled Pulling”
and “Big Rigs Pulling Series”.

Richard Love is well known in the pulling sport. His “Decision Maker, Inc.” has been
involved in the sport of tractor and truck pulling for many years stemming from when
Richard purchased his first weight transfer machine from Ronnie Hixson. Since then the
Decision Maker name has been emblematic of some of the best weight sleds in the
sport.

Full Pull Productions, Inc. was started by Richard ‘Rick’ Feicht in January of 1987 and has
become the largest private promoter of tractor and truck pulls in the eastern United
States. The “Big Rigs Pulling Series” originated in 1991 and was the first national series
for the sport of semi truck pulling. In 2005 Full Pull Productions formed its own in-house
sanctioning body which was named USA-EAST Sled Pulling.

Rick Feicht, while now retired, has agreed to assist the Loves through the transitional
period. And RJ Feicht will handle on track duties for the new owners at selected pulls.
The toll-free number (1.888.FULLPUL) has also been retired.

what i know about richard love he was always a stand up guy, honest and never played favorites. on the other hand rick f. over the yrs. had his favorites. he screwed over a few big rig semis including the late john mann lady butterfly semi. there was a lot of cheating going on in the early yrs. at one time there were better than 15 to 20 semis at a pull. now he was lucky to get 6-8.. there are a lot of semis out there between NTPA,PPL. but you had to wonder why no semis pulled with full pull over the last 5-10 yrs. jmo

Who else and how did Rick screw John Mann ? Who was cheating and how? If you are going to lob accusations like that you better provide some details and facts to back it up.

Were not many Semi pullers during past five years at either of PPL or NTPA. I recall numerous times when FPP had more Semis than either of the other two on the same competing weekend.

Nothing like kicking a guy on his way out the door as he CHOOSES to retire...

Mind you...Degrade a man that did more for than the sport than many will ever realize. In fact, he is the reason that there is such a thing as Big Rigs Pulling (hence the name being trademarked). He was the first. People laughed at the idea of semi pulls until he brought it to the masses.

To address that class in particular, that group of pullers is a great group of competitors that work together and put the show for the fans at the top of the list of their priorities. They often get together just to put on a show...

As for why there are semis spread out in PPL, NTPA, and USA East, it has to do with rules as well as points races. Just like any other class. The Big Rigs as a group chose to go with a single turbo charger in the name of cost and keeping their motors more intact.

For those that say...”He screwed guys over...”

You don’t have guys come down from Vermont to PA, Ohio, and the like for EVERY event he wasn’t broke because Rick screwed ya over...

You also don’t have guys work for you for the entirety of the companies 30 year history Cuz he screwed you over...

So again...Before you run your mouth...Check your sour grapes at the door and get your facts straight.

I wish the Loves nothing but the best moving forward and believe they can do great things with the company...But come on man...Have a little respect for a guy that was great for the sport and is getting the opportunity to enjoy his retirement.
