Why are you not using the 4 disc in yours????

Re: Clutch September 26, 2021 11:05AM
Got a 706 rear. Can’t fit 4 discs. So I’m gonna swap to 3 disc 12.5

Re: Clutch September 26, 2021 12:32PM
Lots of 706’s with 4 disc 12.5’s. 11 should fit no problem

Re: Clutch September 26, 2021 01:50PM
May be runnin a profab or atlas transmission. But there is
No possible way to make a 4 disc work in mine like it is now
Without a bunch of modifications. Suppose to have 1.5in of free
Travel on a slipper and I can’t get a 1/4 in

It’ll work with a stock style also

Re: Clutch September 28, 2021 10:31PM
Are you saying 1.5” between the fingers and the throw out bearing face? A Crowerglide does not need that much clearance.

Re: Clutch September 28, 2021 11:39PM
What did you have to do to your 706 to lighten it for LLSS class?

Re: Clutch September 26, 2021 01:54PM
start grinding (literally)

Re: Clutch September 26, 2021 02:33PM
There’s nothing left to grind. The throw out bearing is as far back as
It can go.

I have been running a 3 disk, 10.5 inch Atlas clutch for 3 years in my Diesel LLSS. Works good set air gap up start of year and run it. I know of a Light super Stock that running same set up to save weight. Good luck
