You need older engines with the right cam and pump, some guys near Charles City ,Iowa could help, don't know the contact.

It will run about the same as any other 359 cid gas engine. Starting with a 6.7 will help a little more.

Just curious, which head would flow better a wauk 310 diesel with spark plugs or a 5.9 cummins with the manifold cut off with spark plugs.both could be ported..seems like the llss heads are impressive, also the central ohio 310s are very impressive

A 310 diesel head is better than an OEM Cummins but there’s some aftermarket Cummins heads that have the ability to be made very good

Good luck getting a 1755 rear end in the 5000 # Class ! Not even sure you could make the 6000 # Class. You would need a 1800A Housing to even think of it.
