Why is the Badger State site so bad? Every time I click on one of tabs
it takes me somewhere else, frustrating. While I really enjoy the LSS class why does WTPA even have one, the LLSS has good numbers and the LSS doesn't. Dick Morgan www.PULLOFF.com Independent Pulling News Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/29/2024 04:06AM by Dick Morgan. |

Promoters want the LSS class. There's numbers there but breakage, parts, farming and such usually hurt the numbers.

Listing all the available vehicles in any class is rather misleading. The real question is how many show up? I realize that there are many reasons that pullers can't hook however the numbers are low. Dick Morgan www.PULLOFF.com Independent Pulling News |

When they are all running they have a really good class. Even when they are short it is still fun to see them instead of another single charger diesel class, breaks up the show a bit. That's why I would rather see a WTPA event over a Badger State event. WTPA offers a bigger variety I just wish there numbers were a bit better in some classes. Unfortunately I usually have to travel to see either of them. Can't wait to see John and Justin back out. |

When was the last time there were more than 5 LSS at a WTPA hook? What class does the WTPA have good numbers in? Badger State has good numbers in their classes and they have Pro Stocks. I will gladly pay $20 to see over 80 hooks in seven classes at a Badger State pull(Baraboo) than pay more $30 to see 4o hooks in eight classes at a WTPA pull(Wyauwega). |

I didn't say anything bad about Badger State pullers, they put on a great show too. All I said is my preference would be a WTPA or Region 3 event over a Badger State pull because of the extra classes they have or offer that aren't single turbo diesel classes. I like the light supers, minis, and the mod 4x4 truck class. Depending on the show you can also see the mods. None of which are offered by Badger State. Sometimes numbers per class doesn't matter when you can make it up with added or different classes (to me anyway). Everyone has there own opinion, I travel to watch both clubs and I also go to Weyauwega and Baraboo. There is nothing wrong with Weyauwega's show and I personally think it is a good show, they fill the stands and then some there as does Baraboo. Last year they were pulling chairs out and putting them on the track because the stands were full. Last year it only cost $10 to get in Weyauwega (I just looked it is the same this year), You also forgot to say part of that cost to get in was the gate fee to get into the fair where you can also watch a live band playing behind the grandstand that doesn't cost extra so you really got 2 shows for your money. |
