Please elaborate. What was bad about the track? Jake Morgan Owner, PULLOFF.COM Independent Pulling News This page is a free service. The cost is covered out of my pocket. It takes a great deal of time and a fair amount of money to keep this website going. Donations for: photos, classified ads, forum discussion, etc... are appreciated. Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal. |

Again, what does that mean. Does that mean is was too dry? Too wet? Too soft? Too hard? Too rough? Too...
Instead of beating around the bush and speaking in some vague non-answer nonsense how about actually saying what was wrong with the track. Pullers were saying it wasn’t the track but the sleds. Pans had twice the grousers and twice as big. |

TWD Puller
|
This sounds like a put put puller or a diesel 4wd puller. Doubt they were twice as big. Sounds like a track that was taking some power. Which is usally what a diesel 4wd complains about. |

Just sayin
|
Twd puller I think ya talking about the man in the mirror. I know a SS Diesel 4wd puller who lives for tight power tracks. So I Don don't get what ya sayin. |

Old puller

I suggest that you don't come to Eastern and Southeastern Ohio and pull on some of these tracks with that old sticky Eastern Ohio Clay, because that usually claims some victims as well. I've seen many drive train failures over the years In the Ohio region. However that does mean that the track wasn't built right. In fact we welcome very tight clay tracks where I'm from. It sorts the tractors and trucks out from the Toys!! Lol |

not there but
|
I wasn't there but a puller sent me a video of one sled having to be pushed back because it was stuck in the mud. The other night someone said it was soft at the end of one track. |

.02 question

.02, "dry slick". Umm, I've been around pulling for decades. But "dry slick" is a new term for me. Please explain what that means. |

Awesome facility
Awesome people behind the facility Dirt for ther track...... should be changed out with some really good clay from somewhere, Track Builders.... usually way too wet and hard one night and too dry the other night. Need to hire Jim Miller Sleds....... not a huge fan of that provider. the grouser bars are too agressive and on too wet of a track it destroys the track. (make a change) Some pullers drove past this event for Sandwhich because of the track |

A bunch of the Illinois tracks are what I call Top soil Tracks, what also makes Illinois so bountiful in farming I'm sure. Love to donate all of them some good ole Southern Clay to mix in, it would be awesome combination, but the Trucking is a killer on that! We could use some of their Top Soil in our Clay Tracks as well!

In the 5.0 pro stock class the sled was stuck 3 times Friday night. Last puller in class had one hell of a pass but they claimed some sled malfunction and wouldn't give him the time to cool off and come back. Weight box went all the way forward not sure what the malfunction would be. Pull started at 7 with two sleds, I left with kids at 1015 and they still had two and a half classes to go. Track was so muddy that even with two sleds it took awhile to repair track with multiple basketball sized chunks of mud |

Re: Holzhauer track

Truth is…
|
The press didn’t go off to push the back of the pan down correctly according to the sled operator, who is no dummy. Though he was told by Brad Holzhauer to not say anything and just let it fly. That sled operator is legit and won’t do stupid stuff like that. So it was notified to John and Kristy. Puller opted not to cool off and come back. None the less, the track was absolute trash and the place sucks. |
