PPL has announced a brand new class that will move the sport to the next level: the Limited Pro Stock Drone class.
Set to debut at select PPL events on the east coast, the class is sure to be a hit with fans. Teams from Russia, China, Iran, and how shall we say, pharmaceutical teams from Latin America have expressed an interest in the class. Details like class weight, turbo size, and lowering the hitch are being worked out. Look for the schedule in the coming weeks. |

Holly smokes this is awesome. Many questions
1. Is cross dressing allowed, or does the hood need to match the battery pack. I got a killer energizer bunny design idea. 2. Will NTPA and Outlaws pick up the class, and will they run the same rules as PPL or alter them just enough to hinder the ability to pull multiple associations. 3. Could this class be added to the NFMS next year. I think it should it would be a great class to give the smoke tube a break. I would do at least two nights and a Saturday final. 4. I assume the numbers will be huge should we just split it into a limited pro and light limited pro drone class from the start. 5. What night will this class run, and BG it definitely deserves to be at BG. 6. Is the scedual for this class going to be out soon? i need to plan my vacation time next summer and would like to know the scedual immediately. 7. What will the payout be for this class and how many places. Whatever it is, it won't be enough. Should start at $5,000 to win and pay down at least 37 places. Can't wait for this great new class if there is one thing pulling needs more of its more classes and more diverse sets of rules changing every few hundred miles down the interstate. |

Smart Ass, that is a very well thought out post. You need to be named the class rep/go to person/class promoter/chief sponsor chaser of this new awesome class.
Perhaps you are the one flying all those unidentified drones over New Jersey & other east coast states. You're just getting them all tuned up for the summer nights PPL Limited Pro Stock Drone class. Why of course, that is why Joey and Homeland Security says there is nothing to be afraid of. Sounds pretty logical. |

"BIG PRO" will be hooked up to a 480-3phase drop cord supplied by the promoter. With unlimited big liquid cooled motors and massive rotors. This would also be the only full component class starting out and crossdressing allowed. |
