I have wondered, if Dave and Ralph in their prime could be brought into today's pulling world, what mod setup would they build? |

Love the 3 part series. Watched with my Dad and he loved it going down memory lane. We need more interviews like this before we lose our older generation and we lose the stories. |

If Robguys Garage is reading this, it would be great if he can tickle out answers regarding the following 2 items.
- you can notice on many pictures that most of the early banter built tractors had the throttle lever on the left hand side. but at the end of their active comp time, they had a few with a right hand arrangement. what was the reason for that, both, having it awkward in the beginning and usual at the end? I'm not 100% sure, but even some the tractors which they built for others, or sold, could be identified by this setting (Sudden Thunder? Black Hawk Special?). - another temporarily trademark of their creations, the spring suspension front end. did they skipped it one day to stay within the weight limits? the chassis used by Rick Rockefeller (Policy Peddler) for the 3 BBC had this suspension, and perhaps also his twin V12 before. not sure if this stuff has been built by himself or bought from banters. |
