Diesel ss question May 30, 2025 08:56AM
Will Scrappy be able to run with guys like Payne, Ross, and Blagrave? I've never seen it hook to the sled.

Pretty sure he wouldn't have decided to run NTPA circuit this year if he didn't think he would be able to be competitive. Scrappy was undefeated in the Outlaw circuit in 2022. He has a new engine for this year. Definitely a welcome addition to the class.

lol to be fair and no offense to any competitors , he had basically no competition in 2022, it runs good and is a top 5 tractor anywhere but certainly not unbeatable.

He had some good competition most nights. He’ll have more tough competitors in NTPA and a few elite competitors. The thing is he’s always ran hard but if I recall he’s more about longevity and not running on kill. I don’t know him, but from interviews I’ve seen I bet he’s gonna have the same approach.

Longevity is the classes very large problem! All new parts and you get maybe half a season, sometime only a couple runs.

Re: Diesel ss question June 02, 2025 03:29AM
Longevity is how Kent Payne wins championships. Yes, Ross's lay down dominate performances but at the end of the day the Ol Super Rooster always makes great A to B runs. if Scrappy takes the same approach it could be a fun year. Makes me wonder how Adam Bauer will approach the situation. Will Adam go after Ross's and make them continue to push the envelope or will Bauer run conservative and go for a title?
