Biggest expense of promoting a pull?

I have 2 questions. What is the single biggest expense of promoting a pull?
And, to make the math easy, let's say the purse is $10,000. How much more than just the purse would a promoter need to spend on different things like sled rental, etc.to break even? |

You'll have sled rental, grounds rental (if applicable), insurance, rain insurance (if you get it), equipment rental for the track (if not donated for use), pay for workers (if not volunteers), marketing/advertisement. If grounds don't have bleachers, bathrooms or adequate lighting you'll need to rent bleachers, porta potties and light towers. Fire and EMS you may have to pay to be there as well. Just some big items I can think of off the top of my head. The numbers are going to vary depending on your situation. Brent Yaron Hooked Up Pulling Productions hookeduppullingproductions@gmail.com |

Sanction fee for the organization and sled rental unless the club has its own sled. |
