Deere motors and DSS June 05, 2025 01:47AM
It's understandable why a 680 ci JD engine would have a possuble advantage in the Pro Stock class.

Why has the JD engine been less competitive overall with the 540 ci DSS class? Are IH blocks just better with the torque of multi-chargers, or is there another reason?

I don't know the answer to that but --- i think it would be interesting to see what a pro stock could do against the super stocks with a set of 30s bolted on at the same weight, also I'd light to see someone put a pro stock motor in a light component and with enough gear see what it could do in light super against the alcohol tractors, and I know cubic inch rule but just for comparison, I think that's the best chance of seeing the two fuels run together in light super !!! Esdon is gonna try and i hope he does it !!!
