Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 07, 2025 12:14AM
My opinion was that was very disrespectful of Donald not wearing a shirt . Made Pulling look very Redneck !

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 07, 2025 12:00PM
You would think that they could buy him a shirt with all the money they are making from FullPull.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 07, 2025 01:06PM
That’s the beauty of living in a free country. Ever see a list celbs show up at these award shows, body paint, one boob covered, half clothed. They do it even worse, and they are , millionaires and billionaires. Free country= do whatever you want within the law.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 07, 2025 01:52PM
I couldn't disagree with you more, the argument that if Hollywood does "within" the law is one of the lamest defenses to say the least. Pulling is not Hollywood, it wants to sell itself as a legitimate motorsport, then act like it. Same with winner circle interviews and some podcasts, clean it up. Don't promote pulling as a "family friendly sport" and then use foul language and off color jokes. I'm not a prude, but there are common sense things that are some pretty basic things that shouldn't need to be taught. And for me this isn't about one team or one organization, it should apply to all aspects of the sport.

Agree with Dick. Clean up your act and show so respect and professionalism. I wonder what Anheiser Busch would think of this if they saw it?

They would have Dylan Mulvaney in a dress posing with the shirtless crewman in a cross-promotion with their Bud Light brand.

That's a common sense post right there Dick. I couldn't have said it any better myself. Agree with you 1000%!

Dick is spot on! Until we get past the beer drinking say what we want dress how we want red neck attitude were not going to gain more attention. I have said this in posts before and got push back. Were not going to grow until we lose the backyard red neck attitude. It is sad to see so many of our podcasts from the people trying to "grow" our sport, and call themselves "family friendly" can not figure this out.

Dress code at a tractor pull?? How is going shirtless not family friendly?? When we were kids if it was hot we all went shirtless. Not just kids , adults too. Disrespectful is not the proper description, he is not disrespecting any one.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 08, 2025 01:38AM
Was at the Awards Banquet ! Sponsors ,Promotors, Pullers Wife's, Professional People present . Who wants to see something like that when they are enjoying a good time.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 08, 2025 01:34AM
I think you guys are blowing this a little out of proportion. Pat McAfee is shirtless and cussing every weekend on college game day, which has around 2.8 million weekly viewers. And their viewership is up 28% year over year. Doesn't seem to be affecting viewership or sponsorship.

Are you seriously comparing a semi-comedic commentator who'se job is to be outrageous with a competitor?

A more apples to apples comparison is the NTPA awards banquet compared to other motorsports awards banquets like NASCAR and NHRA, just smaller scale. Living in Central Iniana, every May they show the Indy 500 Awards Banquet on local tv and those guys, their wives, car owners, IMS people are dressed up. I assure you the other motorsports competitors treat their awards with respect. After all, most of them have sponsors.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 08, 2025 04:33AM
lol you guys are over here complaining about a guy having a good time who I would wager to bet doesn’t care about your thoughts. Stop comparing NTPA to nascar and nhra it’s not the same never will be the same and would also wager to bet if pulling goes the way of nascar there will be a lot less support from the pullers. Stop clutching ur pearls with offended gasps and lighten up

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew drunk, immature, and unprofessional December 08, 2025 06:50AM
It’s basic understanding that when someone that’s there giving money(sponsors) see some drunk shirtless man walking around at a awards banquet for supposedly the highest tier of pulling and the biggest and largest sanctioning body it looks so unprofessional on themselves the crew and The NTPA and for them to just let it go on how ignorant and pathetic can you be NTPA? completely unacceptable on all parties involved whether it’s a joke or trying to be funny that’s not the place nor time to do it.. I would uphold a one year ban for such nonsense and immaturity. And maybe the NTPA could be looked at ALOT MORE Professional if they acted professional and mature and before everyone says oh it’s just a joke blah blah you’re just as ignorant and immature good job making us real pullers look terrible.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew drunk, immature, and unprofessional December 08, 2025 07:42AM
I just wish someone would update some of us that don't know anything about what being referred too !!!

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew drunk, immature, and unprofessional December 08, 2025 09:42AM
there might be a dress code next year!
I guess some people need a rule book for everything....

No one is clutching pearls. There is a difference. If “said person and team” wish to conduct themselves that way, they have every right to do so. BUT, as the HOST of an event, you have the right to ask for a code of conduct and a dress code (obviously needed). If folks wish to “do their own thing”, you can …. Just somewhere else.

I would say that it puts the group, as a whole,in a bad light. There’s already a perception out there and acts like these just confirm it.

Exactly. It is and never will be a “professional sport” like NASCAR, F1, NHRA, etc. It’s an expensive hobby, simple as that, and there isn’t anything wrong with that. Let people have some fun and quit the complaining, good lord.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 08, 2025 11:10AM
Maybe he was trying to make an example of how redneck pulling is and that the money and sponsors mean nothing to him or his team.

Exactly. Any dumb ass going around shirtless at a formal event isn't thinking about much of anything.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 08, 2025 12:11PM
Where is the video or picture of shirtless drunk guy ?

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 08, 2025 02:46PM
You know every once in a while when you come from south of the Mason-Dixon Line people conduct themselves differently. Just to jack up ratings maybe Donald Duck will be the next interview on No Practice Podcast and let the people know what was going on.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 09, 2025 01:38AM
At first it was all fun and games. But being shirtless on NTPA's one big night is dumb.

Do it at BG, do it at your own shop for clicks. Do not do this where you are trying to conduct business.

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 10, 2025 12:48AM
Chase did apologize for him when he was getting one of his awards during the banquet. Probably not the best decision by Donald but I think it bothers the keyboard pullers more than anyone at the banquet . Just my 2 cents .

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 10, 2025 05:57AM
I was VERY offended.

People involved in pulling should not be having fun at the banquet! You have to be very serious and professional at the banquet. pulling should be like nascar, everyone loves nascars because of the next gen cars and bubba wallace, we should follow their lead. I hope we can create 13 more single charger hooded tractor classes. also I think the old key board warriors on this site should be in charge of all pulling organizations.

We must band together and stop all fun from happen at next years banquet!! whos with me!!

2026 - Lets Shrink Pulling!!!

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 10, 2025 06:52AM
You, who can't get the courage to use you real name would also be considered a " key board warrior " . Kinda funny really that you can be so bold and hide behind some useless name. Grow a set.

I find the "pulling is not NASCAR/NHRA/NBA/PGA etc" line of reasoning silly. I could also argue IBM is not Google is not Caterpilllar... yet I'd bet all three of those have standards of decorum in their office.

Since comparative thinking is challenging for you, unnamed puller, let me ask: Did PPL have an awards banquet? Did Outlaws? How many crew members went to their banquets shirtless? Did KTPA have a topless woman jump out of a cake at their banquet?

Re: Richardson Motorsports Crew guy Disrespectful December 09, 2025 05:15AM
Guess nobody follows UD Motorsports and Donalds shenanigans all year, everyone gets a laugh out of them, was it maybe the most appropriate place? Probably not, but was anyone hurt/maimed? No. Maybe someone who was at the banquet will chime in on whether or not they were offended but I know the majority laughed. UD also posted this statement as well. Please everyone, put down your pitchforks and torches, and laugh for once.

UD Motorsports — Public Service Announcement

To our fans, partners, and everyone who attended the NTPA Championship Banquet in Orlando last Saturday — we owe you a quick update (and an apology).

Some of you may have noticed that our team member, Donald, made a… bold… wardrobe choice for the banquet. Specifically, he arrived in what can only be described as a “shirtless tie ensemble.” UD Motorsports leadership was not present at the time of this decision and was unaware of the situation until arriving later in the evening, when some of the damage had already been done. Once we got there, Donald was promptly encouraged to put a shirt on — which he did.

We want to sincerely apologize to anyone who witnessed Donald’s attempt at redefining formalwear, whether in person or online. We’re handling this internally and evaluating all options, including a suspension, a beer fine, community service, or possibly mandatory lessons in banquet attire.

We’re also reviewing the implementation of a formal UD Motorsports Team Dress Code beginning in 2026 to prevent any future wardrobe malfunctions.

Thank you for your understanding, your sense of humor, and your continued support of our team. If you have suggestions for disciplinary actions for Donald, feel free to drop them in the comments — we’re listening.

— UD Motorsports
