Pulling is one community! March 17, 2026 05:34AM
I started to think about the NTPA situation last weekend in Florida and I realized that it could happen to any organization, be it state, regional or national pulling. My comments were to hash and judgemental. Most fans don't really know what organization is putting on the show, they see trucks and tractors going down the track. Hopefully they will be entertained and will keep coming back. So what happens to any one event the other organizations will be impacted. The NTPA by all accounts put on a great show Saturday night, that's the bottom line, they recovered and moved on giving the fans and pullers a great time. Pulling really comes under one huge umbrella, broken down into many sanctioning bodies, a group effort.

Thank you for offering some grace to us. We all really took it personally that Friday was so bad. I'm sorry for what was presented. Not a fine moment. We really tried to fix as much as we could. It wasn't perfect Saturday, but we addressed as much as possible.

So are we gonna actually have a backup laser for GN events?

Or we just gonna hope and pray that it doesn't happen again...

Dont worry about it..All some people do on here is gripe..It looks like the fans got to see 41 hooks at the first session...Thats close to the total entries that a average state level pull would have in my area...If I had been a spectator there on Friday night I would have sure been back for Saturday evening...

I've been around pulling for many years...You name it and I've seen it happen..Things dont always go smoothly..I dont expect total perfection 100% of the time..Several times the lights went out and the pull was stopped for 1-2 hours to replace a transformer..Most people stayed...
