What qualifies a puller for NTPA Hall of Fame, Gregg Randall! April 22, 2026 02:58AM
Gregg Randall, over 35 years of service to the membership of the NTPA Association. A stable and solid business plan keeps NTPA relevant in the motorsports industry.

NTPA Hall of Fame, Gregg Randall! April 22, 2026 05:25AM
Gregg put in countless miles and long hours to promote the sport of truck and tractor pulling. Jake and I want to wish Gregg success on the next adventure the life holds for him and is family.

Y'all's acting like he quit NTPA?

He’s no longer Executive Director, as of Saturday.

Wait, Gregg is no longer Executive Director? Where was this announced? Hopefully he is still with the NTPA, Gregg was such a great supporter and promoter of the NTPA, pullers and the community.

Would be nice to know who will be replacing Gregg.

Re: Gregg Randall! April 23, 2026 01:34AM
Rich Schaefer, former NHRA Div 2 Director and former President of IHRA.

Re: Gregg Randall! April 23, 2026 05:52AM
Well very sad to see Gregg go. But there must be a plan. Hopefully we will get a press release, this is great publicity for the sport. Hopefully this means great things with new change.

But, if he was only "president " for less than a month, does it count?
Not a bad thing, just asking.

Re: Gregg Randall! April 25, 2026 03:58AM
Saturday AM and ntpapull.com, Headquarters Staff and no Gregg Randall listed anymore. I think that is pretty sad. And Dave S. would most likely not be too happy.

Did Gregg Randall leave voluntarily? April 27, 2026 10:18AM
Inquiring minds want to know.

Also, going back a year or two, did Richwine leave voluntarily? Both men served NTPA for many years.

Richwine was forced out, he’s stated that many times on different podcast

Word in the grapevine he was forced out was not happy with the new ex ihra guy and they chose him over Greg

Re: Did Gregg Randall leave voluntarily? No April 28, 2026 02:53AM
Gregg always meant well – however, he learned from David Schreier...

- and why NTPA has a convicted felon running their marketing dept is beyond me (tampering with records and office theft)

Re: Did Gregg Randall leave voluntarily? No April 28, 2026 10:17AM
If Gregg is gone then me and other will leave too

Re: Did Gregg Randall leave voluntarily? No April 28, 2026 11:09AM
Richwine was in a lawsuit against him and ntpa and part of the settlement was him getting the boot. I won't go into the details it's probably on Google anyway.
As far as Greg if you haven't noticed all the big pulling orgs are going through a major overhaul. Like stated above Greg was part of the old guard and probably wasn't meshing well with the new way of doing things. Progress hurts but it is what it is sometimes. Pulling has been pretty stagnant and change was probably needed across the board. We'll see how it works.

Re: Did Gregg Randall leave voluntarily? No April 28, 2026 06:54PM
Gregg was a great ambassador of NTPA! He will be missed. He might have been part of the "old guard of pulling", but that's not a bad thing! The only way that pulling will see success is to build on the history of our sport. All of the new ideas are great, but let's include our history to build on that. Good luck to the new leadership.

I always Gregg so easy to work with, very professional and a huge heart for not only the NTPA but also the sport of truck and tractor pulling. It sure looks PPL/IHRA and NTPA/NHRA are bringing the drag racing rivalry to pulling.

I’ve known Greg back before he worked for the NTPA, he’s a great guy, always had time to talk and answer questions, I wish him well in the future.
