Iconic motorports facility to house illegal immigrants April 10, 2021 01:07PM
One of NHRA's legendary venues is the Pomona Fairplex in California, which is basically the Los Angeles Co Fairgrounds. I've been to a couple NHRA events there myself.

NHRA usually has 2 events there yearly, the Winternationals to open the season in February and Finals to end the season in November.

Due to California's insane covid restrictions, NHRA didn't race there in 2020, and the race has been postponed to an undetermined date this year. It was just announced the facility will become a temporary housing site for illegals.

Who knows if NHRA will ever race there again. This is the same site that houses the NHRA Museum and is the organization's home track.
