I just saw where the hearings are starting about the "insurrection ". Isn't it convenient that the Republicans on the committee are Trump haters, can't imagine how that could happen with Nancy in charge!!! What a total shame and joke the congress is, things were going to be "bipartisan " under Ol Uncle Joe! LOL

I read an article a while ago about someone who went 10' past a barricade after police waved them in... then they stood there and told people to not enter the capitol building and that this was all a setup... The whole thing was all caught on video. This so-called "armed insurrectionist" was arrested for trespassing and has been held in solitary confinement for weeks despite all the video evidence.

This whole thing is a shame and a sham.

PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.

The "bipartisanship" & " uniting" they were talking about was uniting the differing factions of the leftist, Marxists , oligarchs ,now in power. The rest of us have been declared a "threat" labeled as domestic terrorists, white supremists & insurrectionists. i.e. the enemy of the nation they seized, that must be crushed. And all it seemed to take was a virus with a 99% survivability to get the job done. But the ground work has been laid for years. My wife & I tried to tell people over 20 years ago the undermining of families taking place in these government schools. We were ignored. Look at the prosecutors & mayors in place all across the country. Growing up did you ever envision the day elected officials would not just turn a blind eye to crime, but actually endorse it ? Remember being taught about PRAVDA ? The old Soviet state run media. Now carries tags like ABC News, CNN, the list is long. And I can't even comment on the Facebook, Twitter, addiction where I understand many get news. I do not participate in them & never understood adults attraction to what I considered a teenage gossip platform. Obviously a lot there I don't understand. But this is a very in your face take over of our country by ideologies we once considered evil. They did not choose candidates to install as president & vice president that maybe we disagree with on policy but could see maybe winning. Instead they chose a completely senile dottering old black eyed fool who can't speak coherently & has to be steered on off stage by his wife or whoever is present. I believe this was to show us, we are in control now, this is what we can do. Same as their female howdy doody press secretary casually dropping the news that we are monitoring your phone / text messages by asking that providers edit them of anti vaccine texts. That was no accidental slip. And yesterdays little slip from the God like Dr.Fauchi that this escape from the wet market is possiiblly going to mutate into variants the vaccine has no effect on. Get that ole mask out from under the pickup seat you deplorable low life's! I just can not imagine why anyone would at this point be hesitant to take an "emergency use only" approved vaccine using a new technology, that once injected into you can not be sucked back out .. 15 days to flatten the curve folks.

Grubby I didn't see where it was said it didn't happen. Both sides were a part of it. Pelosi baled before Pence. I would be questioning that if I were a Congressman. This whole thing is to barr Trump from running again. I voted for him 2x and will a 3rd rather than slip further into socialism/communism.
I'm not a real big Trump fan and never was but at least he believes in Democracy and would be a huge plus for our economy. I blame the Republican party for being weak and not standing up way harder on the new left. They also have not given us conservatives a good strong ethical candidate for President.
Obviously you're on the other side. I can't see how anyone in this country can be with all that's going on but that's why we are some what still a democracy. God bless.

Yeah January 6th happened but so did rioting, burning and looting month after month with very little if any repercussions for those participants. The were a lot more deaths involved during all of this unrest than anything that happened on January 6th. Both were wrong but only one is being delt with why do you suppose that is???

Not sure about other parts of the US but in Minnesota there were 904 arrests for actual crime (not including breaking curfew). Hundreds have been charged and so far 23 have been convicted with associated jail sentences and ~$45M in restitution. The vast majority of the others were given $1000 fines.

Obviously, not able to hold everyone accountable but certainly there are concentrated efforts in MN to identify and convict those responsible for breaking the law.

I remember in Columbus, Ohio when an officer shot an African American young woman who was attacking another with a knife. Then, the great almighty LeBron James plastered his face all over internet with “You’re next”. In seconds, people knew his face and name…..and all he did was his job AND saved a life.

But the name of Capitol officer still remains quiet……so stop with insurrection crap. Was it wrong? Absolutely. Was it 100% Trump supporters? Absolutely not. If you want to riot, burn, break, whatever….do it to someone’s personal property and you’ll get congratulations from the media & the Libs, but go to their house (and their private security) or the Capitol. Next time, just dress in black snd wave BLM flags and it’ll be ok

Please explain how that was an insurrection, just how were they going to take over the Government, every revolution has a story, I would like to hear it.
