Electric cars are the single greatest example of patting yourself on the back for absolutely nothing. Electric is still predominantly generated via coal. California already has blackout periods in the summer because their electric grid can't handle people running their air conditioning. Can't wait to see what happens when they've got air conditioners running plus all these electric cars to charge.

Ironically enough this exact situation is playing out in California RIGHT NOW. A press release went out to the state urging citizens to turn off their air conditioners. appliances, and don't charge any electric cars.

If this is happening with little to no electric vehicles to overwhelm the grid, this will be a weekly occurrence once the land of fruit and nuts only drives electric vehicles. Can't wait to watch this from a far.
