So far the open classes I've been to have had safety rules in place. I see no problem with people enforcing safety rules for that type of class.

I think it would go over great! Here in KY there isn't a ton of classes like that. Depending on your location it would draw decent numbers. Around here it's mainly a class called "altered farm" and rules are 11k , 2.3 turbo, either 2800 or 3000 rpms (don't remember) no intercooler, water, and a few other rules. Usually draws about 4 tractors. I think an open class no matter your lo

By looking at the “open classes” this nothing but a pull for pullers who can hack being in an association sounds to me like a big fish little pond mentality
Looks to be tailor made for 6030's to run the roost.
I've been to this pull before and it's a quality pull. It's not just a 6030 show. I've seen small blocks green and red do very well and be in t

Thanks! We've pulled up there several years ago. It was a fun time! Definitely wouldn't mind going up there again!

I saw a flyer for it somewhere on Facebook but the classes I saw listed all had mph limits. But I could be wrong as well. If you know of something feel free to text me 5o2-552-5137 or email me at prdoug2@hotmail.com.

Just seeing if anyone knew of any pulls this weekend in KY or Southern Indiana? 10,500 or heavier, 3k rpms, and 20.8 tires this weekend or upcoming week?

Fair competition and integrity is exactly what I am talking about. That is following the rules set forth to make the game fair and those who follow those rules are full of integrity. This has absolutely nothing to do with someone who has done their homework and has a vehicle and program that could dominate their class! Just because others choose to get better or not is not justifica

Yes anywhere from 10-15 we had as many as 21 it’s the club’s most popular class we run points series for it we have 15 -20 hooks
I am just being curious but what's run in that class? Is it only bbjd or is there a wide variety of tractors in it?

Hot stock is a pump cooler 619 cube 3 inch turbo
Does that class draw a lot of tractors? Seems like it would be pretty popular.

Here in KY there are very few open farm pulls. I wish there was more. I think it would bring lots of different Iron and from different states. Most times around here if you show up with anything over 470 cu you will catch very watchful eyes. Haha.

I'm just curious if anyone else is having trouble finding tickets? I generally can find Saturday night tickets pretty easy but I can't seem to this year. So I was just curious. Thanks!!

I normally have a few lower arena finish line seats available for sale but have to wait till we actually get our tickets before I will know.
If you get them and have any for Saturday night I might be interested in some.

Is the no BBJD by design or just cause no one has one? No one has one, yet... Between the A-Pump SBJD and the red ones with rotary pumps, it stays pretty tight. I think there's room for growth in that class around here too.
We got a big block but no home so to speak. Your class looks fun.

We can make 20 hooks a summer in open farm classes around the country (from Georgia to Minnesota and Nebraska to New York... or Canada if you want) and the numbers vary from 20 machines to 2. The cool thing about a rwyb class is that you have no idea what will show up.
I have BEGGED pro stock owners, 4.1 owners, pro farm owners, and everything in between to put 20.8s on and pull in

Just about the only rule we have is no water. That kind of helps limit how wild it can get.
How many tractors do you average? I'm just curious. Somewhere in that 14-18 range normally.
Is it a deal where any of the tractors can win on a given night? Or is it just a select few that win? Those are really good numbers. Impressive.

It works as the occasional brush hook. If you are asking if this would have a future as an organized class that would get 20 hooks a summer, the answer is most definitely no. All it takes is one guy building a prostock on 20.8s (and there will always be that guy), and everyone else quits showing up. Hence the invention of the box charger classes.[/quote
I definitely see that as a pr

Sorry I was typing on my phone and didn't realize I left that out. I meant the 13k open class. My only caveat would be it doesn't have to be 13k. You could make it lighter if need be.
I think with the right set of rules you could make this class one of those classes anyone could win on any given night. But that's always the hang up. Everyone wants the rules slanted in their favo

First off this isn't anything set in stone but more of a curiosity thing for me. I think before anything is done you must first see if there is any actual interest in such a class. Then at that point you could discuss actual rules other than safety which would be a must. Flip side is if there is no interest then the class idea dies. Again I'm just curious if people would be interested i

Getting old and forgetful but for the life of me I can't recall ever seeing a small block beat up on a 6030 in an open. They pretty much caused their own problem.
I've seen it but as far as naming the exact pull and time I have forgotten. Again honestly not trying to start anything just generally curious. I remember going to watch this pull 10+ years ago an

I am just generally curious and by no means am I trying to start anything so please don't take it that way but how come big blocks aren't allowed? When I was younger going to watch that pull I remember seeing a few there. Now that was 10+ years ago so maybe I am just remembering wrong. It's completely possible haha.
